TAEKWONDOWON
The largest Taekwondo training center in the world is just 20 minutes away from your room. Athletes around the world gather in this arena to train and learn more about this form of martial arts. The stadium is open for the public year-round, and it provides different learning programs during the day.

HIKING COURSE
The Gucheongdong valley is just minutes away from Ecoville. The hiking course to the top of the mountain is about 4.5km long and it takes between 3 to 5 hours. This course passes through the Baekryonsan Temple, a popular spot for tourists to rest and take photos.

BANDILAND

Bandiland or "fireflyland" is known as one of the largest insect museum around the nation. The park itself is not quite a theme park, but it is big enough to hold a museum, a 3D theater, and an observatory; two swimming pools open during the summer as well. At less than 5$ an admission and 2.5km away from the Taekwondowon, Bandiland easily makes it as one of the "must go" places in Muju.

SKI RESORT & GONDOLA
The Ski resort opens between the end of November and the second week of December, and comes to an end on the first weeks of March; however, the Gondola is available year-round, making November a popular time to visit. Tourists around the nation come to take the Gondola and see the beautiful colors of autumn that covers the Deokyusan mountain.

MUJU FIREFLY FESTIVAL
Fireflies are insects that live in a clean environment, and Muju has adopted this insect as the county's mascot to raise public awareness regarding environmental contamination. The county has been spreading the importance of protecting our environment through this Firefly Festival which lasts for a week and it is held during the summer. The Festival is held in the main city of Muju which is about 20 km away from Ecoville.

There are several businesses around the area that takes care of these recreational activities. The prices usually range between 15,000W and 25,000 per person ( prices vary depending on the number of participants and the sport selected).
